“Hearing the Hurt Masculine” … The Weekly Newspaper Edition [#2R – “R” for Rebirth] : Susan’s Editorial Saturday August 22nd, 2020

Welcome to this week’s Newspaper: Hearing the Hurt Masculine.

In my own early life, I couldn’t really figure out how the world “worked”. Then, later on, I began realising that most people can’t—especially Men. I have 4 very-loved men in my Spirit world because they’ve passed on, Grandfather, Father, Brother, Husband. They were all sensitive, creative, artistic, and hurt by the demands of the Spirit of their times—they also hurt others in their lives.

When I came upon the Zen concept of the “Regarder of the Cries of the World” [Goddess of Compassion], I realised that simply accepting and honouring this hurt would go a long way to allowing a healing of the damage experienced as a result of maybe-5,000 years of Patriarchy in our story of Humanity’s journey through time.

So, here is the first “Hearing the Hurt Masculine” edition of the Kindest Revolution Weekly. Lead article is an excerpt from King, Warrior, Magician, Lover by Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette first published in 1991 [coincidentally the year Vicki Noble published Shakti Woman—see last week’s edition].

Eco-Warrior-Saint Dr Vandana Shiva’s Book “Oneness Vs 1%” is featured as an anthemic call for our return to reverence of Seed and Freedom. And, in the body of the paper Dr Cat Saunders joins us again this week with her article Respecting a Man’s Space Is an Essential Task for Women Who Love Men, and my own very short blog on Regarder of the Cries of the World.

Music and Book reviews this week are:  Thanos, My Music  and Simplicity of Life by Steve Leasock.

As usual in the video section: Astrology by Acyuta-Bhava Das  | Tarot card readings for week of August 24th for each Astrological sign by the amazingly gifted Ali | Vegan cooking by Rachel Ama [now gloriously pregnant] and Avante Garde Vegan | And, setting the energetic feeling-tone with our music videos: Eric Clapton “Holy Mother”, from Daryl’s House “Papa Was a Rolling Stone” and the iconic Dobie Gray’s Drift Away. All the video content in today’s edition is intended to keep us in tune and in touch with the power of art, beauty, music, wisdom . . . and Divine Feminine energetic expression of compassion for the hurt in our men.

We go to press today with yet more valuable contributions from the “I Declare World Peace” art movement [check the photos section] .
